Missio Hair + ABLE

Change happens when we link arms and work together to make a difference in the world around us… The beautiful truth is that there are not only countless non-profit organizations working around the clock, but there are also other for-profit companies who choose to use their platform and influence to make an impact. We love linking arms with companies who are like-minded in their mission and vision. We are thrilled to be linking arms with ABLE!

ABLE is a lifestyle brand, based out of Nashville, focused on ending generational poverty through providing economic opportunity for women. They have grown from producing a single collection of hand-woven scarves to a one-stop shop for ethical fashion, offering leather goods, handmade jewelry, denim, clothing and footwear. Their products are produced in Ethiopia, Mexico, Peru, and Nashville, TN - and each item has one thing in common: because it is made by women, it is leading all of us a step closer to the end of generational poverty. Their heartbeat is beautiful and their company is inspirational.

Today, we have been invited to their headquarters as they host an Advocacy Panel for Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Our Founder, Lorin Van Zandt will be sharing during this special event in the Nashville community that aims to be an overview and discussion event about human trafficking around the world. We are honored to be apart of this event, and we cannot wait to share more about our experience and time with ABLE. Be sure to follow our journey on social media!
