This nourishing formula includes gentle, coconut-derived cleansers and antioxidant-rich extracts such as acai, pomegranate, kiwi and mangosteen for protection and shine. The anti-aging properties of baobab seed protein reinforce and strengthen strands while providing superior softness. This shampoo is formulated without sulfates, parabens and phthalates.

Make sure your hair is soaking wet. Apply the shampoo in your hands and rub your hands together for 3-5 seconds to begin working up a lather. Apply to your scalp and work in with fingertips. Apply more water to hair if you feel it needs help moving it through. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if desired.

Interesting FACT: Shampoos don’t actually need to suds to clean, and as a result most sulfate-free shampoos have less lather than those with added chemicals. Since the Gentle Shampoo is formulated without sulfates, it might not feel like it lathers quite as quickly… but don’t worry, it’s working! And if you are wanting a really sudsy experience here’s a trick- simply add a little bit of water and work it in your hands before applying. You can also shampoo twice if you need to. The first time the shampoo is working hard to break down and remove the oils and dirt and the second time it will easily feel more sudsy because it’s not having to do much work.
